PartnerLink - Supply Chain Collaboration Surveys
Quality control, speed to market, out-sourcing, just-in-time inventory control - these are just some of the factors that impact on supply chain performance. Traditionally, the customer monitors its supplier's performance on objective criteria such as conformance to quality specifications, cost, stock availability and delivery-on-time.
Often this is simply treating the symptoms ...
In association with SCCI Ltd, Plans To Reality can now offer the means to develop truly collaborative relationships between key suppliers and their customers in which both parties benefit.
Based on a study of the business relationships between the UK Ministry of Defence and 50 defence contractors, Dr Andrew Humphries of SCCI has developed a suite of surveys that scientifically and objectively measure the health of a business relationship from the dual and opposing perspectives of supplier and customer.
Based on the feedback from both parties, the consultants/change agents can home in very specifically on those areas in need of attention.
SCCI has a Who’s Who of clients including Rolls-Royce, Cisco, Fujitsu, Mars, Siemens and Sainsbury’s.
At a conference in Sydney, before an audience of 300 delegates, Andrew Humphries posed two questions.
The first of these was -
"Do you have collaborative business relationships'?" 86% indicated "yes".
The second was -
"Are you satisfied with their performance". Only 36% were.
Please have a look at www.sccindex.com. The PartnerLink Barometer is a brilliant tool for objectively measuring the underlying health of a business relationship that is significant to both parties.I invite you to explore the links below:
